The byproduct of his prolific career continues to be deeply embedded in pop culture, the highbrow and the lowbrow, as Warhol changed the way we look at day-to-day objects and pushed us to confront issues of gender, identity and society in groundbreaking ways.

Jose Carlos Diaz, Chief Curator of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, reflects on the enormity of the responsibility of being custodian, curator and overseer of the largest collection of Warhol works in the world and how Warhol keeps inspiring us and reinventing itself throughout history.
