Vogue Brazil Editorial Behind-The-Scenes

I love editorial features.  Even more so when it is for any of the editions of Vogue.  I was very honored to have the opportunity to work with Vogue Brazil for a beautiful editorial piece published in the February 2014 issue.  The team was simply amazing: Nô Mello interviewed me and wrote the story before the photo shoot.  The photos were taken by the incredibly talented Jacob Snavely.  I was styled by Juliana Jimenez who has worked with everyone ranging from Gisele Bündchen to Adriana Lima and my makeup was done by the sweet Tess Money.  Alline Coury and Nathalia Fuzaro are the Lifestyle editors who put images and copy together and selected the best pieces for the feature. Daniela Falcão is the extraordinary Editor-In-Chief who has turned Vogue Brazil in one of the most important magazines for Conde Nast.

Juliana came with tons of different outfits, but we knew not all of them were going to make it to the print edition.  In fact, the final magazine only has a full-page portrait of me sitting in my living room and wearing a Fleur-du-Mal jumpsuit that I love.

Jacob felt that we needed to get some outdoors shots and we went to the roof.  I loved this Philip Lim outfit that Juliana brought so much that the next day I went to buy the shorts because I had to have them.

Juliana brought this amazing dress from a Brazilian designer called Pedro Lourenço.  I had not heard about him before, but now I'm a fan!  My shoes are from Dolce & Gabbana

This is a great still life shot with my Gianvito Rossi shoes on top of my Jeff Koons edition.

And so the issue just came out and Cara Delevingne graces the cover.  I was beyond thrilled to see that I had made it to the Editorial Letter that Daniela wrote and that I've gotten four beautiful editorial pages in the magazine.

My portrait shows a large canvas by OsGemeos on the background.  It's is so very Brazilian, and so colorful and vibrant, that I'm glad that was the chosen photo. Obrigada, Vogue Brazil!
