Life Imitates Art
I'm absolutely thrilled to be working with Black Dot Creative in a series of videos documenting what I do. This is the first one and it shows several aspects of my career: discovering emerging artists or working with established ones, visiting galleries that are big and famous and others that are pop-ups and will last for a couple of weeks. Finding treasures in places that seem ordinary but aren't; finding inspiration in the streets of New York daily. I help my clients live with good design and good contemporary art, I curate their spaces, I design their rooms and make the art in it the focal point. I turn them into meaningful collectors, the walls that surround their spaces become storyboards of their lives. The narrative of who they are is represented by the art of our times, carefully chosen to match their passions, inclinations, emotions and tastes. I show my audience what I see in my world through this site, through my book and my social media platforms. I feel very lucky to do what I do and now for the first time, I'm also doing video. Make sure to watch, it is so cool. And the music is by Moby -- so grateful he agreed to let me use one of his pieces for this project. Enjoy!
