Out There, Everywhere
It has been four months since my book launched. It feels like years because so much has happened. Putting a coffee table book, in fact any book, out there in the world (no pun intended) is a wonderful thing to do and it is also a very scary thing to do. Working with my publishing house, Pointed Leaf Press, and both my editorial director, Suzy Slesin and my book designer, Stafford Cliff was a tremendous experience. I'm extraordinarily grateful for the media coverage this book has received, for the beautiful parties hosted by Paul Kasmin Gallery and Missoni Home Hamptons, for having been selected as a Notable Design Book by "Designers & Books", for having been several times in Amazon’s Best-Selling List in the Decorative Arts and Design category and, for being carried in some of the coolest places in the world, like Colette in Paris, and Kirna Zabete in New York City and also for making it to the front table of the iconic Rizzoli Bookstore on 57th street. These images are a compilation of some of the magical moments that "Out There" has brought me. And this is just the beginning.
