I love Corinne-Dalle Ore as a person and as an artist. She's the one who created the mixed-media collage of Frida Kahlo that I have in my living room and that everyone asks about. Corinne was born in St. Tropez, where she grew up in a house being neighbors with Brigitte Bardot (mais oui!). She now lives in Paris and has a gorgeous studio that I visited last year and shot for my book. I was with Corinne two weeks ago in Paris and could not have asked for a better experience than the hours I spent with her and her friends. I was quite excited about her new series in collaboration with French photographer Fredérique Barraja and here is a glimpse of a couple of pieces that I fell in love with. These are sexy, feel summery, look deep and yet are approachable like only Corinne knows how to, bien sur.
