Fabienne Cosulich is a charming half-French half-Italian vintage and antique design connoisseur and dealer with whom I've had the enormous pleasure to work with acquiring pieces for some of my clients. Fabienne and her husband Franco run Cosulich in the Upper East Side, and although the trip up there isn't necessarily that fun, meeting with her and seeing what's new in her store is always a very enjoyable experience. What I love about Cosulich the most is that everything is hand-picked in Europe (mostly in Milan) and the store has an incredible selection of high-end one-of-a-kind vintage and 20th century designer pieces combined with superb Murano glass lighting. But the Cosulichs don't stop there and are completely unafraid to go boldy and that's why they also carry some of the brilliant sculptures made by contemporary artist Stefano DellaPorta. Pairing Fabienne's treasures with more modern and contemporary pieces is really a dream. Most of the inventory that Fabienne and Franco source from Europe can be found on 1stDibs, however, the actual experience of meeting Fabienne and talking to her, cannot be replicated on the internet.
