More than 25 years have passed since his physical disappearance, but Andy Warhol still manages to be everywhere. Or almost everywhere. "Lost Then Found" is the name of a pop-up show on 345 West 14th Street, which opened on May 2nd and will stay up until May 12th. The exhibit comprises a collection of Warhol's portraits taken by the British artist Steve Woods, while in the town of Deauville in France in 1981. The images depict a much softer and shier Andy than the one we used to know; more interestingly though, is the fact that the pictures were lost, forgotten inside dusty drawers, for more than 20 years. The story about how everything happened is too poignant for me to dissect and because of that, I added a picture above that says it all.
