I'm always happy to see Brazil on the rise and this time was no exception. Until June 22, Le Bon Marché (Paris oldest department store located in one of my favorite areas in Saint-Germain-des-Près), is having an exhibit called "Le Brésil Rive Gauche" with all sorts of Brazilian products from jewelry to hammocks to candy to soap. I was elated when I saw the very colorful selection and extravagant display. I even managed to take a few snapshots despite the anger of the French people who work there and hate all of us who take pictures (according to them we will use the images to steal their ideas, oh well). I discovered some very cool fashion brands like Adriana Barra (that I didn't know anything about) and rediscovered new editions of beauty products like Phebo and costume jewelry like Francesca Romana Diana. The exhibit had dedicated areas in almost every floor and even the bookstore was packed with books about Brazilian contemporary artists like Os Gemeos, Adriana Varejao and Beatriz Milhazes. Maravilhoso demais!
